Vintage Mens Pajamas w Smoking Jacket Collar Pyjamas Size L

I’ve never had nor have I ever seen similar vintage mens pajamas with a top that has a quilted shawl lapel, like a smoking jacket, highly unusual. This is a wonderful pair of vintage mens pajamas made of burgundy purple coloured cotton with roped trim along the lapels and opening as well as at the chest pocket and the side pockets.
The set is fairly crisp, and although out of the original packaging, either was never used or saw practically no use.
The pants have an elasticized waist with no closure on the fly - these simply slip on.
Age: early 1960s
Label: None, just a tab label that has either a V or a W on it.
I have a feeling that these vintage mens pajamas are of European origin.
Sizing: No size is indicated on these vintage mens pajamas, and although this should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Pajama top:
Shoulders: 21” across seam-to-seam
Sleeves: 24 1/2” long from the shoulder seam, 35” long from the mid-neck, over the shoulders and to the cuff edge
Sleeve Inseam: 19” long
Chest: 50” around,
25” across pit-to-pit
Length: 30 1/2” taken at the back from the neck seam
Pajama bottom:
Waist:
24” around unstretched and 44” fully stretched - somewhere in between would be a comfortable fit

As these vintage mens pajamas appear to never have been used, they are in very clean condition - they’ve been well stored over the years.
