Vintage Yellow Mohair Bear Knickerbocker? 22" Adorable

ABOUT THIS ITEM:
When you see this guy you will want to pick him up and hug him!  He is so darn cute!! I believe he was made by Knickerbocker in the late 1930's or 1940's.  He has the characteristic Knickerbocker large, slightly cupped ears and velvet pads on his paws and feet. He is about 22" tall.  His head is hard; his body is soft stuffed. He is fully jointed.  He has shaggy, long-pile yellow mohair on woven backing.  He has some mohair loss over his entire body.  Half of his right eye is missing.  The velvet on his left foot has about a two inch worn area that exposes his stuffing.  The stitching on his nose is worn and there is stitching low under his nose for a mouth that may not be correct any more. Despite his condition issues, he is one of the most adorable bears ever.
